Everything is now arranged. Power, phone and internet, insurance, movers and carpet cleaner are booked. Deposit is paid, papers are signed. The picking up of the keys has been discussed. Only the packing and the moving to go. It doesn’t seem possible. It’s all done? Really? There’s not one more appointment, phone call, email, payment that has to be done? Well there’s the buying of whiteware but that’s not going to be a total drama. A fridge that doesn’t make a sound like it has mice inside or is about to explode? That’s a great thing! That’s for this weekend after Craft 2.0. If you’re in or around Lower Hutt on Saturday come out and say hi! Until then I shall be sitting on the floor hand stitching. Yep one day soon my craft blog may actually feature crafts. Until then here is a photo of the most beautiful sight I have ever seen – our sold sign. NINE DAYS TO GO!!!

Green grass and palmtrees… cannot say how much I envy you. Anyway, the sun is shining here today – that’s good for sure – but still tons of snow everywhere. Soooo boring!
Talked to mum yday when she got back from spending seven weeks with my sis in sunny warm Auckland… Hope we can go next xmas!

Ah, it feels wonderful to get all those phone calls completed, doesn’t it?!! I’m wishing you a very smooth and fairly-painless move to your new home :). Love that big ole palm tree!

  4. Oh, it’s nice to get all those arrangements out of the way. Love the palm tree, and the lot looks very neat and inviting. You must be so excited — I can’t wait to see all the things you’re going to make for your new home. Congratulations!
