I got it covered

I got there in the end. When my planned sewing machine cover became a wall hanging I had to go back to the drawing board and wait until I found a nice replacement fabric. Around here that coud take a while but a nice bright red ramie that I bought for a bag also yielded just enough for a cover too. Combined with the new blog header I embroidered – because I had to find a use for it other than as a blog header, some black velvet ribbon to ‘frame’ it and a nice soft flannel lining it is exactly what I wanted!
