Seasoned pro

I finished the 4th and final redwork season a few days ago. I think I’ve previously mentioned that when I did the first season and part of the 2nd last year I did them with the whole 6 strands of floss. I decided it was easier to finish all 4 like that rather than redo the first 2 with thinner floss and although I like the stark thick lines a lot my wrists are screaming for a break. It was tough stitching. So I’m planning on putting the embroidery and sewing to one side for the weekend and just relaxing with a good book. Not sure how that plan will work out of course! When the itch to stitch strikes you have to scratch it. (That sounds slightly gross)

Summer

At this point a very organised person would show you all 4 together. And if I find one I’ll be sure to ask them to. Have a great weekend!

  1. I know it’s been said before, but let me say it, too. I love of your needlework. It is divine.

  2. If I could stitch that beautifully, I’d have a hard time putting it down as well. đŸ˜‰
