How to take a crafting break and fail

Step 1: Make something.

I was uninspired, several projects in a row went bad and needed a break. Packing up my pins and thread was enough to get the fires burning again though. Heaps of ideas are flowing now and although this little guy didn’t turn out great he didn’t fail. And that’s just what I needed.

  5. When I get frustrated at things not working out, I usually start cleaning the kitchen cupboards or cooking something comlicated… I soon realise I’d rather be stitching, even if it ends up looking a little dodge. Glad you’re back on the “horse”.
