Today is Day 1 of our adoption journey! After much discussion (begging) Dave has decided that I can at least call Adoption Services. And that’s good enough for me! I’ve asked on forums for advice and information on the process and it is going to be a long one. The paperwork along takes months, then you go into the waiting pool. Where you might spend 4 months…or 7 years. Which is a good reason why I want to start the process sooner rather than later. If only they’d answer their damn phone!!

I am so happy for you to be able to begin the process!! My parents had a long wait for me… then a short wait for my brother, so you never know.
