It was a Doh!!! moment yesterday for sure. I thought I had finally figured out how to crochet. I was SO excited that I had done it on my own. After a while I ran out of room on the crochet hook. If you know how to crochet then right now you’re thinking WHAT?? Crochet dangles in a chain. KNITTING goes along the needle. Yes people I was knitting with a finger and crochet hook. I still don’t know how to crochet. Or knit the next row for that matter. Oh and there will be no proud photo of my ‘creation’ because I undid it in shame.
Doh!!

Think of it as free form knitting, you could start a new craft rage!
Shame I don’t live close to you, I’d come and teach you to crochet. Keep on trying, you’ll get it!

You frogged it!? You’re not supposed to do that with your first creation… that way you will see your progress. I promise I will teach you if ever I am in NZ. And you can pass on some embroidery skills to me… deal?
Sorry I haven’t been around, back from vacation & playing catch-up.

Oh no! I can totally see myself doing this if I ever tried to crochet. I’m sure next time will be better for you.

Hee hee! You made me laugh out loud in my office! The shame!
You’ll get it, don’t worry. The first time I tried to crochet (a few months ago). I had a tantrum, declared I would never learn how to do “this crap,” and burst into tears (more shame there). Just give it a few more tries and see if you can find someone who can give you some tips!
